Goal of helping elderly stretches to Nicaragua

Coming to Nicaragua was never in the plans.
Keren Brown Wilson had made a life out of looking for ways to fix the problems of elderly people in Oregon. The Clackamas-area resident had helped develop the state’s model of assisted living for low-income people, taught and researched at Portland State University, and was launching a private foundation to promote affordable housing and long-term care for the elderly.
