There is fresh speculation about the health of North Korea’s “Dear Leader” Kim Jong-Il, amid suggestions that an image of Mr. Kim may have been doctored.
The image and accompanying video, released on Wednesday, appeared to show Mr. Kim in good health, decked out with glasses from his longtime friend and idol, Elton John.
In the video Il seemed in great spirits, drinking beer, singing along to one of Johns greatest hits “Someone stole my bomb tonight”
But an analysis by the UK’s Times newspaper found an apparent mismatch of available beverages In the Communist state, which led to continued rumors.
These fears were laid to rest when a spokesman for Il announced he had just received his 1st computer in the “No child left behind program” and has been busy surfing the chat rooms, youtube and just generally getting his groove on.
The irregularities of the photo have given new life to suggestions Mr. Kim if not seriously ill, may be seriously missing a screw or two, North Korea expert Dr Aidan Foster-Carter told the BBC.
The suspicions about Mr. Kim’s health have gathered force since about mid-August, when Nth Korea started up their Nuclear reactor program again after signing off on it 2 months earlier.
A Whitehouse spokesman said President Bush’s had asked for former defense secretary Rumsfeld to return, to take out “The Little Gook”. Rumsfeld apparently declined, stating that he would only come back for Obama, I mean Osama.
In other news Madonna’s estranged husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie said he was going after the American diva’s fortune, lock stock with two smoking attorneys.
